Welcome to the new Hampshire Furniture conservation website. My name is David Burton and I have been actively involved as a conservator of fine antique furniture and its conservation & restoration since 1983.

We undertake furniture conservation to the highest of standards in strict adherence to the ICON code of ethics in the Meon Valley in Hampshire.

The owner - David Burton has an HND (distinction) in furniture restoration and a Post Graduate Diploma in antique furniture and related objects conservation. He also has a University of Sussex Masters degree in Conservation.

Our other conservator - restorer is a West Dean college graduate and holder of both Graduate diploma and PDD diploma.

We also run antique furniture conservation courses here in Hampshire. Whether you are a working conservator - restorer, or a complete beginner, we can tailor furniture conservation courses to suit you.

I am a member of the Institute of Conservation (UK) and combined with over 20 years of conservation experience you are in safe hands. I undertake conservation to the highest of standards in secure Hampshire workshops for institutions, private clients and the antique furniture trade.
